Update List(V2.1)

Hey everyone! I am finally back from having the flu! There were some cool updates in V2.1 and I am here to tell you what they were!
Stock Market


The Stock Market is now randomized! When you buy stocks they will be a random price and when you sell the stocks they'll be a random price.

Real Estate


As you can see from above, there is purchasable houses in V2.1! House prices are based on a randomized process. It is a 2 in 4 chance to get a high price and a 2 in 4 chance to get a low price.(This may be change to 4 in 6 high price and 2 in 6 low price but we'll see.) Houses also have a chest inside that will have a few random things in it. Obviously the more valuable the house, the more valuable the items inside the chest will be. You can sell your house for a random price too now.


Missions
As you all may know, it was not possible to have more than one quest with the same character. So instead of adding more mafia missions we added police missions! In one you have to stop crooks from robbing a village.
And in another you have to stop crooks from robbing a house.
That's all that has been added to V2.1.(Besides a few bug fixes) We estimated that the total playtime is now over 1 hour! So if any of you are new you can have a whole hour of playtime for free! I'll see you guys later in the next post. - Buddyfrosty

Upcoming Features(V2.1)

Hey everyone! EasyGamer here. As you all may know, Buddyfrosty is at home with the flu. He has made me in charge. Don't worry though, nothing will be delayed such as: V2.1 Official Release or V2.1 Snapshot #2, etc. Now let's talk about what will be coming in V2.1!

Mafia Info :(
I thought I could make one actor give you more than one mission, but it turns out it's not possible. :( On the bright side, once you finish the 1 and only Mafia Mission, you will get a message that states: "Visit the door to the left of you for more missions." That "door" will take you to the Police Station and you'll have to buy a "Police Badge" to get in for $5000 but I assure you, it will be worth it.

Version 2.0 Update List

Hey everyone, Buddyfrosty here to tell you that Version 2.0 is at long last, released officially. I would like to thank Sensei, GeneticCode, HungryBunny, OverratedCoder, HippoCoder, and EasyGamer for making it so we could release V2.0 this weekend instead of next weekend. I appreciate each and every one of you and I hope we have some awesome times together. Alright, now to the update list for Version 2.0:
- Hidden Chests: There will be hidden chests throughout the map with rewards inside.
- Economy: The shop in the main map will have prices based on a randomized process. 2/5 will be good prices and 3/5 will be bad prices.
- Stock Market: This will be based on a randomized process for stocks to be worth more in each update.(In Version 2.1 it will not need to be randomized in more than one update, it will be randomized in the game.)
- First Assassin Mission: You will get a mission from a certain someone to kill the king. Why? Because he raised taxes.
- Mafia: We did infact add the mafia but there will be only one mission from the "Mob Boss" until V2.1.
- Bank: We added a bank where you can deposit some of your cash to save it for later.
- Casino: At first we thought it wouldn't come out until V2.1 but we hired GeneticCode, HungryBunny, OverratedCoder, HippoCoder, and EasyGamer and they helped us put it out in time.(BIG thanks to them!)

That pretty much sums up the update but please let it be known that we added little things that weren't worth mentioning like 3 more new missions aside from the mafia and king ones. V2.0 Teaser #1

Hey everyone! Our college was closed today due to the snowstorm so I thought I should be working on the RPG. First teaser, your first "assassin" mission.
Can you guess what you're expected to do? It will be an adventure just trying to find the castle/kingdom so we're going to be paying a bit extra for "time". Now I will be giving previews of hidden chests and what they will give. Obviously I won't be showing you exactly where, that would ruin the fun.
There will be a lot more than four to find but some of there are pretty obvious so I didn't want to spoil it.
Economy
The only way for it to be fair for the economy to work was to make it a randomized process, which I did.
Here's how it works: There will be a random number inbetween 1 to 15. Any number below 7.5 means the economy will lower and any number that is 7.5 and above means the economy will increase. (This will not work the stock market, see below for info on that)
Stock Market


In Version 2.0 there will be stocks! Stocks will at first cost $1000 but they will go up based on a randomized process.

Above is the code for the stock market guy.(After the bug fixes.) The stock market guy will be in where the inn is.
The stocks should help you guys make money. That's all for now.

Upcoming Features(v2.0)

Hey everyone Buddyfrosty and Sensei here. On this post we will be putting all of our ideas in one post so thank us both for a certain idea you like it. Alright now to the fun stuff.

Economy
You know how we lowered the price of buying things and selling things is now worth more? Well we were thinking that we could add an economy which goes up or down at random. This means if the economy goes up from now (Buying is 0.8 and Selling is 0.6) it would turn that into this: (Buying 0.7 and Selling 0.7) but if the economy goes down from now it would turn into this: (Buying 0.9 selling 0.5) The sales were this before 1.04: Buying was 1 and selling was 0.5. We were also thinking about adding a STOCK MARKET for you to invest in! We're not sure how hard it will be to code if it is even possible. But how it would work it would just be like real life: If you invest in lets say Buddyfrosty Virtual Worlds(BVW) you would either lose money or earn money. Let's say the stock market goes down and you had $1000 in BVW, you would then have around $700-$900. Now let's say the stock market goes up from the same investment it would turn into: $1100-$1300. If you guys don't like this idea feel free to say in the comments.

Weather
We may or may not add weather such as clouds, rain, and maybe even snow. We may also add snow biomes with ice and stuff. Also maybe even adding plains biomes where there is water with fish. It's all up to you guys with this.

Q&A
New blocks and items? We're working on that right now. New enemies? Most likely. New missions? Heck yeah! How many? I'd say 3-5.

Missions
The missions prices will go up and down based on the economy, so watch out for that. It appears that we will need a new "Quest Room" after the 5 missions are added because it will be full.
The picture above is what one of the new missions will be. The quest will be to kill 5 monsters that drop grenade launchers and then bring the grenade launchers to the quest keeper. You will need to kill 5 dark slime and this mission will pay you $5,000.
The next mission will have a bigger pay, but for harder work. The mission will be to kill 10 monsters that drop the laser pistol. It will pay you $12,000 once you give the quest keeper them.

Random Chests
In version 2.0 random chests will be spread throughout the map, like this one:
When you find them they will have a random item inside, who knows, you may even find EXP, Points, or Money inside.

Houses
Houses may be added in version 2.0. They will look somewhat like this:
But they will be more detailed, have people in it, and maybe even treasure chests and a mission keeper. Some may even have guards.

Update List (V1.04)

After two long days we have finally finished Version 1.04!

Enemies:
As you all may now, enemies were added to version 1.04 to get you some extra cash and EXP. They will be found in woods and maybe even when you're on a mission.

Mission Payments:
Mission payments were balanced with this update. Some good some bad.

Shops:
Buying things now costs less! Selling things is now worth money! The economy is booming!

Jail:
We added a wall to the kitchen and fixed the money glitch.

That's basically it. We also added one new mission.

Upcoming Features

Hello all, today I will be discussing the upcoming features I plan to code for the RPG. I will mostly be discussing missions so I will break this section up to make it easier to read.

Enemies
Yes, there will be enemies coming to missions. They will be quite hard to code so I don't know if it will come out in the next update or not.
As you can see above, I can make the enemy give the player rewards when killed. So what I am planning for the next mission is that someone gives you the mission to find x amount of an item. To get those items, you will need to kill the enemies.(Or I might add where you have to find them either at a shop or some place random) The enemies will be a bit difficult to defeat but I will test the game to make sure it is beatable. The first mission with enemies will be about a 4 on a 1-10 difficult scale and will have a large payment for you. But then again, you need to buy weapons and armor to defeat it. In update V1.05 or V2.0 I will be adding random enemies throughout the map so you can earn some extra cash/EXP. The enemies that will be easy to defeat will probably pay you $20 each or so. The enemies that will be hard to beat will probably pay you $75 each or so. This should help you rank up and such.

Mission Payments
In the next update(V1.04) there will be a balancing of mission payments, whether a bad or good balancement, it is greatly needed. I (might) be lowering the prices of things in a future update, or bringing up the sell cost factor, so be on the lookout for that. When the 5th mission comes with enemies and such it will be paying around $1500-$3000 and (maybe) 50-150 points.

Jail
The jail will have some cool new features in Version 1.05. I think I may be making the cost to get out a little cheaper. I do realise that you can just write down the code and keep going to the jail and grinding money, this will be fixed in Version 1.05 so feel free to abuse that glitch on our part until then.

Woods
The woods will be filled with monsters to kill to get EXP and cash. I will be adding several different forests for you guys to find and get all the exp/cash. That's about it for the woods.

Stores
Although I already spoke about this above I figured some of you may not have read this whole thing.(I wouldn't) The stores sell value will increase and items will be cheaper. There will be a whole rebalance on the whole game so that the level of difficulty will really matter.

Summary
For those who don't actually want to read the whole upcoming features, this is for you! Enemies: I will be adding enemies to the RPG, they will be spread throughout the map. They will give you a random reward for killing them. The harder they are to defeat, the better the reward. Missions: Missions will be rebalanced and the enemy missions will be paying more than the easy ones. Jail: The jail glitch will be fixed in Version 1.05 and it will have some new ways to earn cash. Woods: I will be adding more woods and adding monsters to them. Stores: The stores will be rebalanced.(Cheaper items and higher sell value) That pretty much sums up all of my upcoming plans for the RPG. Sensei may post something like this later on to share his ideas.

Hello all, you guys haven't seen me in a while have you? I've been busy with college so I can't really do fun stuff like this anymore. I have an rpg that I was working on before and I decided I wanted to release to the internet and maybe even develop it more.
